Michigan used the starting lineup of Jenny Ryan, Rachel Sheffer, Nya Jordan, Nicole Elmblad and Kate Thompson for the sixth consecutive game. Michigan is 5-1 in those games.
U-M is now 1-1 against Valparaiso.
The Wolverines are 8-0 when sporting white uniforms this season.
Kate Thompson recorded her 10th game of the season with at least three three-pointers. She tied her own school record with six three's in the contest.
U-M led 44-17 at the half. Michigan is 9-0 when leading at the half.
Michigan out-rebounded its opponent for the seventh time this season. U-M is 6-1 in those contests.
Kate Thompson scored in double figures for the 11th time this season.
Michigan scored 44 points in the first half, the most points in a half this season by U-M. It was the first time the Wolverines scored at least 40 in a half this season.
Nya Jordan had nine rebounds in the first half, finishing with a career-best 14 rebounds.
All nine Wolverines who were dressed saw game action.
Michigan had four scorers in double figures for the first time since the season-opening win against Detroit (Nov. 9). U-M is 2-0 when four players record at least 10 points.
Nicole Elmblad hit her second three of the season tonight, her first since making one against Detroit on Nov. 9.
Michigan shot at least 50 percent from the floor for the fifth time this season.
