Michigan used the starting lineup of Jenny Ryan, Rachel Sheffer, Nicole Elmblad, Kate Thompson and Nya Jordan for the seventh straight game. U-M is 6-1 with this lineup.
Michigan won its sixth straight game, its longest winning streak of the season.
All nine Wolverines who were dressed scored.
Cyesha Goree had a career-high four points.
Today's game was the first between Michigan and Niagara.
Kate Thompson hit five three-pointers in the contest, her 11th game this season with at least three three-pointers.
Kate Thompson scored in double figures for the 12th time this season and the 10th straight game. It was her third 20-point game of the season.
Jenny Ryan had a season-high eight assists, her third straight game with at least seven helpers. She now has 384 in her career, putting her fifth on the all-time list.
U-M scored a season-high 82 points. It was the first time Michigan has surpassed the 80-point plateau since scoring 88 against Indiana on Feb. 16, 2011.
Michigan has held five straight opponents (Illinois State, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Valparaiso and Niagara) to under 50 points.
Nicole Elmblad tied a career-high nine points. She also had nine against Harvard earlier this season (Nov. 23).
Michigan went undefeated in December (6-0) for the first time since the 1998-99 season.
