Q U O T E S
Michigan Head Coach Cheryl Stacy
On the Central District Classic ... "It was a rough weekend for us. We are going to come back and regroup. We are really looking at this event as kind of a fluke. We are just trying to get the kinks out from being inside all winter. We have spring break coming up so we are looking forward to a week of playing and practicing before heading to the Miami tournament. Yugene (Lee) really played well today and it was great to see her close with an even-par 72. I walked with Meagan (Bauer) most the day. She played a lot better. She was just struggling with her swing a little, but she was able to bring it back around in the final round. We just got off to a rough start on our first four or five holes yesterday, however, today we saw improvement, which really helped us get better. We still need to finish a little stronger, but you can see the improvements coming. These are all things we will continue to work on over the next few weeks before we get back to tournament play."
