Women's Track and Field
Nigerian heptathlete Uhunoma Osazuwa, a third-year Doctor of Pharmacy student at Michigan, competed in the long jump on Saturday (Aug. 4) at Olympic Stadium before dropping out of the heptathlon due to injury. She recorded a jump of 5.74 meters to finish 15th in Group B and score 771 points. Osazuwa did not compete in the javelin or 800-meter run, finishing the heptathlon with a total of 4,402 points through five events.
