• Michigan is now 2-1 in five-set matches. Michigan defeated Virginia Tech on Aug. 25 and Arkansas on Sept. 1 in five sets.

• Lexi Erwin picks up her sixth double-double of the season and 15th in her career as she had 20 kills and 10 digs. She also had 20-plus digs for the fourth time this season.

• Jennifer Cross had a career-high nine total blocks. Her previous high was eight on two occasions, the latest on Aug. 25, 2012 against Virginia Tech.

• Molly Toon had a career-high six total blocks. Her previous high was five, most recently in a win over Northern Iowa on Sept. 8.

• Michigan now leads the all-time series with Western Kentucky 2-1.
