For the 12th straight game, the Wolverines used the starting lineup of Jenny Ryan, Nicole Elmblad, Kate Thompson, Rachel Sheffer and Nya Jordan. Michigan is 10-2 with this lineup.

Tonight's matchup was the 38th meeting between Michigan and Penn State. The Wolverines now hold a 9-29 all-time record in the series. Michigan's last win against the Lady Lions came on Jan. 31, 2010 (66-62).
Scoring 20 points tonight, Rachel Sheffer has passed the 1,000-point milestone. The last Wolverine to accomplish this was Carmen Reynolds, who scored her 1,000th point on Dec. 20, 2011, in a win against Illinois. Sheffer now has 1,012 career points.
Rachel Sheffer recorded a double-double, posting 20 points and 10 rebounds. It is her second double-double of the season and the fourth of her career.
This was the 11th time this season that Rachel Sheffer has posted at least 10 points and her second game with at least 20 points.
Kate Thompson has blocked a shot in five straight games.
