• For the third straight game, U-M used the starting lineup of Madison Ristovski, Shannon Smith, Nicole Elmblad, Cyesha Goree and Madison Ristovski.
• Michigan won the tip for the first time this season.
• The Wolverines had four players in double figures for the second time this season.
• Siera Thompson scored a career-best 22 points. It is the first 20-point game of her career and bettered her previous best of 12 points, which she accomplished four times.
• U-M has scored at least 70 points in five straight games, including 80 twice during that span.
• U-M wore its maize uniforms for the third time this season, moving to 1-2 in them.
• Val Driscoll set a new career high with three steals.
• Cyesha Goree scored in double figures for the fourth time this season, finishing with 10 points.
• Nicole Elmblad recorded her fourth double-figure scoring game of the season with 19 points, which tie her career high set against Xavier last Wednesday (Nov. 13).
• The all-time series between Michigan and Pitt is now tied at 2-2. The teams had not played each other since 1992.
• Michigan shot better than 50 percent from the floor for the first time this season, finishing with a 54.9 shooting percentage.
• U-M outrebounded its opponent for the fifth time this season, moving to 4-1 in those games.
• The Wolverines made a season-high 22 free throws, marking the first time since making 21 against Northwestern on Feb. 2, 2012.
• Head coach Kim Barnes Arico moves to 11-3 all-time against Pitt.
• Freshman Paige Rakers has made a three-pointer in all but one game this season.
