Michigan fell to 53-34-1 all-time at the Great Lakes Invitational and 10-5-1 all-time in GLI consolation contests. This marks the first time since the 2000 GLI that Michigan lost two games in the tournament.
Michigan fell to 10-8-1 against Michigan State in the Great Lakes Invitational. The loss also snapped a three-game winning streak against the Spartans, as Michigan fell to 145-126-19 all-time against MSU.
