With her hook shot at 3:45, Kate Thompson surpassed the 1,000-point barrier in her career. The bucket was her first of the game after making five free throws. Thompson became the 24th player in school history to eclipse the 1,000-point mark. She finished her career with 1,001 points.
Senior forward Sam Arnold came off the bench and contributed five points and two rebounds. Arnold hit a jumper and three-pointer to finish her career.
Senior forward Nya Jordan collected four points, three rebounds and two assists in her final game in a Michigan uniform.
Jenny Ryan, Rachel Sheffer, Nya Jordan, Kate Thompson and Sam Arnold finished their Michigan careers with tonight's loss at Stanford.
Michigan reached the second round for the third time in school history. U-M has never reached the Sweet 16.
The Wolverines played in back-to-back NCAA Tournaments for the second time in school history.
