• Michigan falls to 15-17 all-time in Big Ten Conference openers. The loss also snaps a five-match winning streak conference lidlifters.

• The Big Ten Network televised the match.

• Senior Molly Toon led the Wolverines with 16 kills. It is the sixth time in her career that she has led the Wolverines in terminations.

• Sophomore Tiffany Morales had 14 digs and now has double figures in digs 42 times in her career.

• Senior Jennifer Cross had 12 kills and now has eight double-digit kill performances in 2013.
