For the third straight game, U-M used the starting lineup of Val Driscoll, Cyesha Goree, Nicole Elmblad, Siera Thompson and Shannon Smith. The lineup, which was also used against Arizona (Nov. 9), is 4-0 on the season.
U-M wore its white uniforms for just the second time this season, moving to 2-0 in white.
Val Driscoll finished with four blocks, her seventh multi-block game of the season. She narrowly missed the first double-double of her career, finishing with nine points and 12 rebounds.
Nicole Elmblad hit her first three-pointer since the season opener (Nov. 8). It is her second three-pointer of the season. It was her first three-point attempt since the Xavier game (Nov. 13).
Cyesha Goree recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 10 points and 15 rebounds.
Michigan led 35-23 at the half and is now 11-0 when leading at the break.
U-M outrebounded Wisconsin, 45-23, moving to 11-2 when grabbing more boards than its opponent.
Paige Rakers hit a three-pointer in today's contest, marking the 12th game this season with at least one triple for the freshman.
Siera Thompson had her 13th double-figure scoring game of the season, finishing with 11 points.
Wisconsin leads the all-time series, 39-22, but head coach Kim Barnes Arico is 2-0 against the Badgers as the Michigan head coach.
U-M won its fourth straight game in tonight's contest, equaling its longest winning streak of the season.
Michigan is 2-0 in Big Ten play for the second consecutive season.
The Wolverines shot 90.9 percent (10-for-11) from the free throw line, their third straight game over 90 percent.
