• Today's announced attendance of 101,717 marks the 258th consecutive game of more than 100,000 fans at Michigan Stadium.
• With today's loss, Michigan fell to 3-1 in the all-time series against Maryland. All four series games have been played in Ann Arbor.
• Prior to the game, U-M honored its 12-member senior class playing in its final game at Michigan Stadium: Brennen Beyer, Joey Burzynski, Anthony Capatina, Devin Gardner, Will Hagerup, Delonte Hollowell, Jonathan Keizer, Alex Mitropoulos-Rundus, Jake Ryan, Alex Swieca, Raymon Taylor and Matt Wile.
• Michigan's game captains were senior defensive end Brennen Beyer, fifth-year senior quarterback Devin Gardner, fifth-year senior linebacker Jake Ryan and senior cornerback Raymon Taylor.
• Sophomore/freshman wide receiver Jack Wangler made his collegiate debut on special teams.
• Michigan has not allowed a first-quarter score in three straight games.
• Fifth-year senior quarterback Devin Gardner scored a touchdown on a 15-yard rush in the third quarter. He now has 28 touchdowns in his career, putting him into a tie with Jamie Morris (1984-87) for 17th on U-M's career list.
• Gardner's 82 rushing yards mark a new season high. His previous high was 40 yards against Rutgers (Oct. 4).
• Gardner passed Tom Brady (1996-99) on Michigan's career completion list, moving into fifth place. Gardner surpassed Brady (443 completions) with his fourth completion of the game. He now has 453 completions in his career. Todd Collins is fourth on U-M's list with 457.
• Junior wide receiver Devin Funchess recorded a seven-yard reception in the first quarter, giving him a catch in 24 consecutive games. That ties Desmond Howard for the ninth longest streak in school history.
• Senior/junior fullback Joe Kerridge recorded a career-long 52-yard rush on a fake punt in the first quarter. It was his second career carry. He previously rushed for three yards at Iowa in 2013. Kerridge also has a catch in three consecutive games.
• Junior tight end A.J. Williams tied a career long with a 12-yard reception in the third quarter.
• Fifth-year senior linebacker Jake Ryan notched a career-high 14 tackles (previous: 13 vs. Utah in 2014). He also recorded his fifth consecutive game with double-digit tackles.
• Ryan now has seven games with double-digit tackles in 2014, moving him into a tie with Calvin O'Neal (1975), Sam Sword (1998) and Paul Girgash (1981) for seventh on Michigan's single-season list.
• Ryan now has 10 games with double-digit tackles in his career, moving him into a tie for 12th place on U-M's career list with Tom McKee (1970-72).
• Junior linebacker Joe Bolden set a new career high with 14 tackles (previous: 12 vs. Michigan State in 2014).
• Sophomore defensive back Dymonte Thomas collected five tackles, tying a career high previously set vs. Appalachian State (Aug. 30).
• Sophomore defensive end Taco Charlton recorded his third career sack -- for a loss of 11 yards -- in the first quarter.
• Junior defensive end Mario Ojemudia recorded his first career PBU in the first quarter. He has also recorded a TFL in three straight games.
• Senior defensive end Brennen Beyer also has a TFL in three straight games.
• Junior/sophomore defensive tackle Matthew Godin recorded his first career sack -- a six-yard loss -- in the third quarter. Godin also notched 1.5 TFL, a new career high.
• Junior wide receiver Dennis Norfleet moved to seventh in Big Ten history with 90 career kick returns, passing Purdue's Dorien Bryant (88, 2004-07), and sixth with 2,124 kick return yards, passing Indiana's Derin Graham (2,088, 1998-2000). He is just one yard shy of the fifth spot in the latter category, currently held by Bryant.
• Senior kicker Matt Wile matched a career best with three field goals. He previously recorded three against Penn State (Oct. 11). He upped his career total to 20 field goals, moving to 11th place among U-M's all-time leaders. He is tied with Jay Feely (1995-98). Wile also moved to 12th among U-M's single-season leaders with 15; he is tied with Bob Bergeron (1983) and Brendan Gibbons (2013).
