• Cyesha Goree recorded her fourth straight and eighth overall double-double of the season, finishing with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
• Wisconsin leads the all-time series against Michigan, 40-23.
• Katelynn Flaherty finished with 12 points for her 10th double-figure scoring game of the season. She has hit at least one three-pointer in 11 games this season.
• Michigan committed a season-low 11 turnovers.
• The Wolverines dropped their Big Ten opener for the first time since a 70-50 loss to Ohio State on Dec. 21, 2008 during the 2008-09 season.
• Nicole Elmblad played in the 110th game of her Michigan career, moving into a tie for 29th place on the all-time list.
• Michigan was outrebounded by three in the contest, moving to 2-3 this season when outrebounded.
