Michigan finished 8-8 in Big Ten play, just the 11th time in program history that U-M finished .500 or better in conference action.
Madison Ristovski finished with 14 points, her first game in double figures since Jan. 18 against Illinois. She tied a career high with four three-pointers.
Shannon Smith recorded her fifth 20-point game of the season and her second in the last three games.
Michigan was outrebounded for just the fifth time this season (31-30).
Penn State leads the all-timer series against Michigan, 31-9.
Today's loss was just Michigan's second this season in true road games. U-M finished the regular season with a 9-2 road record, including a 6-2 Big Ten mark. Both totals were program bests.
Cyesha Goree now has 276 rebounds this season, putting her third on the all-time single-season list.
