Brooke Bolender joins Denise Muresan (111), Chisako Sugiyama (104) and Sarah Cyganiak (100) as Wolverines with at least 100 singles wins. Bolender is 100-38 in her career.
Emina Bektas has won 11 straight matches and sports a perfect 9-0 mark in dual matches at the No. 1 spot. She has not lost since dropping a match to No. 7 Hayley Carter of North Carolina on Nov. 8 at the ITA National Indoor Championships. She has already been named Big Ten Athlete of the Week twice this season.
Ronit Yurovsky (5-0), Emina Bektas (9-0), Brooke Bolender (5-0), Annie Wierda (1-0) and Laura Ucros (2-0) are all undefeated in singles action during dual-match play.
Michigan and UNLV were meeting for the first time ever in today's match.
It is Michigan's third shutout of the season.
U-M is 7-0 when winning the doubles point.
It was the Wolverines' first outdoor match of the season.
