Tonight's attendance was 2,704, marking the largest crowd to view a women's soccer game at the U-M Soccer Stadium.
Michigan defeated Michigan State by a score of 2-1 for the third straight game, and U-M improved to 11-5-7 all-time against Michigan State. The Wolverines are 5-1-3 all-time at home vs. the Spartans.
For the first game all season, the Wolverines did not make one substitution in the 90-minute game.
Goalkeeper Megan Hinz earned her seventh win of the season (7-1-0). With one goal allowed tonight, she has allowed just four goals through five Big Ten Conference matchups.
Corinne Harris scored her second goal of the season and now has 11 points in 2014 (2G, 7A).
Nicky Waldeck notched her second game-winning goal of the season as well as an assist in tonight's match. She now has five goals and three assists on the season (13 points).
Jen Pace tallied her first point of the season, recording an assist on Nicky Waldeck's goal in the 46th minute.
After recording the assist on Nicky Waldeck's game-winning goal, Ani Sarkisian continues to lead Michigan with 14 points on four goals and six assists.
Freshman midfielder Niki Wilkinson made her first career start for the Wolverines.
