With the loss, the Wolverines had their seven-game winning streak snapped; it was nation's longest active winning streak heading into tonight's contest. Michigan had also won seven straight games in Big Ten play.

Hyman's current scoring pace (1.57 points/game) is greater than Kevin Porter's (1.47 points/game) during his Hobey Baker Award winning campaign in 2007-08.
Three Michigan players have point streaks of three games or more, led by Zach Hyman (eight games, 9G, 10A) and Dylan Larkin (eight games, 8G, 10A). Cristoval 'Boo' Nieves has points in three straight games (5A).
