Lineups Set for Annual Maize & Blue Intrasquad

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan wrestling team will informally kick off its 2015-16 season on Sunday (Nov. 1) with the Maize and Blue Intrasquad at 2 p.m. at Cliff Keen Arena. Admission is free.
The Maize and Blue Intrasquad typically serves as the final round of wrestle-offs to determine the Wolverines' starting lineup. Preliminary matches and the first match of each weight's best-of-three final were held Thursday (Oct. 29) at the Bahna Wrestling Center.
Due to several nagging injuries and the participation of three Wolverines -- senior Rossi Bruno, graduate student Max Huntley and junior Adam Coon -- at the NWCA All-Star Classic, also scheduled for Sunday, additional wrestle-off matches will occur at the later date. The all-star meet is slated for a 5 p.m. start at Georgia Tech's McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta, Georgia, and will be aired live on ESPNU.

Michigan will officially open its season at the Journeymen/Asics Northeast Duals on Saturday, Nov. 15, squaring off against Sacred Heart (9:20 a.m.), West Virginia (11:15 a.m.) and Hostra (3:15 p.m.) at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York.
