ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Athletic Department has announced several updates to its ticketing policy aimed at broadly serving its diverse fan base.
2016 Football Preferred Seat Donations and Ticket Prices
Current Preferred Seat Donations (PSD) and season ticket prices will remain unchanged for the 2016 season. For the fifth consecutive year, football season tickets will be $65 per game. With eight home games on the 2016 schedule, the total season ticket cost will be $520.
Football Season Ticket Transfer
In response to season ticket holder feedback, Michigan Athletics will now provide football season ticket holders the opportunity to transfer their season tickets annually. Beginning in 2015, season ticket holders will be able to transfer their tickets during the months of November and December.
Ticket transfer donations will vary based on seat locations in Michigan Stadium.
| Tier | Transfer Donation (Per Seat) |
| Victors | $600 |
| Valiant | $475 |
| Maize | $350 |
| Blue | $200 |
| End Zone | $75 |
Men's Basketball and Ice Hockey Preferred Seat Donations
In order to provide added flexibility to men's basketball and ice hockey Preferred Seat Donors, the PSD deadline for those sports will be extended to May 15, 2016. Fans will still retain the option of paying all PSD's starting in November 2015, allowing these donations to be made in either year for tax-reporting purposes.
