LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Junior Davis Crocker of the University of Michigan men's tennis team won three straight singles matches after dropping his first to win the backdraw of the A singles flight of the Louisville Fall Invitational on Sunday (Oct. 16) at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
In addition to Crocker, senior Tyler Gardiner and freshman Connor Johnston each made an appearance in the semifinals of their respective flights before losing today. Sophomore Gabe Tishman also competed at the event, going 2-1 in the A flight.
Tishman and Crocker combined for a 2-1 mark on the doubles court, while Johnston and Gardiner won their final match to complete the tournament with a 1-2 record.
Michigan is back in action this coming week, traveling to Columbus, Ohio, for the ITA Midwest Regional Championships. Ohio State is hosting the tourney, which will run Oct. 20-24 with berths to the ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships on the line.
