SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Senior Jathan Malik went 4-0 in singles action en route to earning MVP honors as the University of Michigan men's tennis team completed play at the Bobby Bayliss Invitational on Sunday (Oct. 9) at the Eck Tennis Pavilion.
In addition to Malik, junior Runhao Hua earned all-tournament honors with a 4-0 singles record of his own.
Junior Davis Crocker and sophomore Myles Schalet also competed in the event, helping Michigan to a perfect 8-0 singles record on Saturday (Oct. 8). U-M picked up 13 singles victories at the event to go with four wins on the doubles court.
Michigan continues fall action in two weeks, participating at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships from Oct. 20-24 in Columbus, Ohio.
