
Wolverines Add Raabe, Westlund to List of Signees

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team has announced the signing of Dakota Raabe and Gustaf Westlund to National Letters of Intent. The two forwards are set to join the Wolverines in the 2017-18 season.
Dakota Raabe (Capistrano Beach, Calif.) // Forward
A 5-9, 165-pound forward ... Currently playing with the Wenatchee Wild in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) ... Through 21 games, ranks third on the team with 11 goals, adding 12 assists for 23 points ... Recorded 40 points (21 goals, 19 assists) in 57 games with the Wild in 2015-16, adding six points (one goal, five assists) in 10 postseason games.
Gustaf Westlund (Stockholm, Sweden) // Forward
A 6-foot, 171-pound forward ... Currently playing with the Lincoln Stars in the United States Hockey League (USHL) ... Through 14 games, has tallied seven points (one goal, six assists) ... Highlighted by SB Nation College Hockey as a 2016 NHL Draft Prospect ... Recorded 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists) with The Gunnery prep school in 2015-16.

Raabe and Westlund will both finish the season with their respective junior teams and join the Wolverines in the fall for the 2017-18 season.
