Wolverines and Buckeyes
This will be the 113th meeting between Michigan and Ohio State. The Wolverines have an 58-48-6 advantage in the all-time series. The Buckeyes have won four straight matchup and 11 of the past 12 contests.
Michigan vs. Ohio State in Columbus
The Wolverines hold a slight 27-26-2 edge in the all-time series in Columbus. U-M has compiled a 24-22-1 record all-time against OSU at Ohio Stadium. Michigan looks to end a seven-game road losing streak; last victory was a 38-26 win to capture the 2000 Big Ten championship.
Top-5 Matchups Between Michigan/Ohio State
This will be the 11th time that Michigan and Ohio State take the field in a top-five matchup. The Buckeyes hold a 6-3-1 advantage in those contests. This is just the second time that the two schools have met when both programs are ranked in the top three of the national polls. The other was the 1-2 matchup in 2006 at Ohio Stadium.
The Game
Selected as the greatest rivalry in all of sport by ESPN.com in 1999, Michigan and Ohio State will meet for the 99th straight year on the gridiron.
The two programs have played every year since 1918, a streak that ranks eighth in Division I-A for the longest uninterrupted series.
The overall series dates back to 1897, when the Wolverines claimed a 34-0 victory over the Buckeyes in Ann Arbor.
The Buckeyes are the most common opponent for the Wolverines, trailed closely by Michigan State (109 games).
The Wolverines hold a 58-48-6 advantage in the all-time series, but the Buckeyes have won 11 of the last 12 matchups.
This will be the second game against OSU as head coach for Jim Harbaugh.
Michigan vs. Ohio State in Columbus
The Wolverines have compiled a 27-26-2 record all-time in Columbus, including a 24-22-1 mark at the Horseshoe.
U-M looks to end a seven-game losing streak against OSU at Ohio Stadium.
Televised for the 50th Consecutive Year
The annual game will be televised for the 50th consecutive year and 61st overall time.
Since 1967 every game in the series has been televised, including 30 national television appearances.
This is the 30th consecutive year that ABC has televised the Michigan-Ohio State game, with all but the 1995 game being a national television broadcast; the 2005 game was a split national broadcast on ABC and ESPN.
The first game ever televised between the two programs was a 21-0 win by the Wolverines in Ann Arbor during the 1947 national championship season.

U-M has been ranked in the AP poll for 57 matchups with Ohio State.
Michigan is 29-24-4 all-time against Ohio State when listed in the top 25 of the polls.
The Wolverines have compiled a 21-20-4 record against the Buckeyes when both teams enter the game ranked in the AP poll.

Big Ten Conference Season
U-M heads into its final home game of the season with a 7-1 mark in Big Ten play.
Michigan looks to capture eight conference wins for just the eighth time in school history: 1997, 1991, 1989, 1983, 1982, 1980, 1971.
The Wolverines are 5-0 at home and 2-1 on the road this season in conference.
U-M has compiled a 498-201-18 record all-time in conference action, tops in Big Ten history.
Michigan has a 13-3 mark in Big Ten action under second-year head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Harbaugh's only setbacks in the Big Ten came against Michigan State and Ohio State last year and Iowa this season.
U-M Continues to Rank in Top 4 of Polls
Michigan ranks third in the Associated Press poll and is fourth in the Amway Coaches poll this week.
U-M has ranked third in the College Football Playoff Rankings for the first three rankings.
This is the 11th consecutive week that U-M has listed in the top four of the AP rankings; eighth straight week in coaches top four.
The Wolverines have been listed in the top eight of the national polls all season and have ranked as high as second in the rankings.
It was the first time that Michigan has listed No. 2 in the country since the 2006 season.
The Wolverines started 2016 listed No. 7 in the AP poll and No. 8 in the Amway Coaches poll; it was the first time since 2012 that U-M began the season listed in the top 10 of polls.
The game with No. 2 Ohio State will be Michigan's second top-10 matchup of the year.
Michigan won a 14-7 contest against No. 8 Wisconsin on Oct. 1 to collect its first victory over a top-10 team since 2008 (27-25 win over No. 9 Wisconsin).
Michigan in November
The Wolverines will look to collect their 313th all-time victory during the 11th month of the year against Ohio State.
U-M has compiled an impressive 312-134-20 all-time record in November.

Harbaugh in Elite Company
Jim Harbaugh joined Fielding Yost (1901-02) as the only head coaches to collected back-to-back 10-win seasons in their first two seasons at U-M.
Harbaugh is the second fastest coach to 20 wins at Michigan, trailing only Yost; Harbaugh accomplished the feat in 24 games, and Yost won his first 29 games of his U-M career before tying Minnesota (6-6) in 1903.
Harbaugh has compiled a 20-4 overall record.
He is a semifinalist for the George Munger Collegiate Coach of the Year and is candidate for the Paul "Bear" Bryant and Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year awards.
