Kim's 66, Lim's 71 Guide Wolverines on Second Day at North Carolina

» Using a career-best 66 (-6) from freshman Ashley Kim and senior Kathy Lim's 71 (-1), the University of Michigan women's golf team posted a 287 (-1) second-round team total and moved up to 13th with a 586 two-day total at North Carolina's Ruth's Chris Invitational at Finley Golf Course.
» Recording six birdies and 12 pars, Kim tied U-M's third-lowest round in program history. She was just a single shot away from the record of 65 held by Grace Choi and Ashley Bauer.
» Closing with five birdies over her final seven holes, Lim posted U-M's second sub-par round of the day and just her third under-par round of her career.
» Including four of the top 10 teams, the Ruth's Chris Invitational features 12 of 18 teams ranked among the top 50 nationally. U-M will play the final round with Virginia Tech and Tulane starting at 9:15 a.m. in a shotgun format.
