Van Dievoet's 71 Guides Wolverines to Tie for 12th after Day One of Landfall

» The University of Michigan women's golf team sits in a tie for 12th place after an opening 297 team total following the first day of the Landfall Tradition at the Country Club of Landfall.
» Junior Elodie Van Dievoet paced U-M, using three birdies for a 71 (-1). She's currently tied for 16th in the 96-player field.
» Sophomore Hannah Ghelfi is making her first career start for the Maize and Blue and opened with a 77, tying for 74th after 18 holes.
» U-M is making its return to the Landfall Tradition after a nine-year absence. This year's 18-team field are all ranked among the top 100, with nine schools in the top 25.
» Michigan will play the second round with Virginia and host UNC Wilmington on Saturday, Oct. 28, starting at 10:09 a.m. on the 10th tee.
