ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan football team will host its annual Spring Football Game presented by PNC Bank on Saturday, April 15, from Michigan Stadium. The approximate start time will be 1 p.m.
Additionally, the Michigan men's lacrosse team will host the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Battle at the Big House beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Michigan Stadium. The lacrosse matchup will be broadcast live via the Big Ten Network.
The spring game and men's lacrosse game are free and open to the public. The spring game will be televised on tape delay by the Big Ten Network, set to air at 3 p.m. on the same day.
The gates to the Big House will open one hour prior to the start of the lacrosse game. Additional information will be forthcoming regarding parking, stadium entry locations, concessions and other activities for April 15.
The football team started spring practice last Friday (March 24). The program will hold 12 practices in Ann Arbor before traveling overseas to Rome, Italy, for the final three spring practices and an immersive educational and cultural experience for student-athletes.
The men's lacrosse team is in the midst of its most successful season to date with an 8-1 record heading into Big Ten play, led by Tewaaraton Watch List member Ian King. The April 15 matchup marks the first occasion that the Wolverines have hosted the Buckeyes prior to the spring football game, as U-M previously hosted the Buckeyes in the Battle at the Big House in the 2015 season in a contest that was played following the spring game.
