• Today's announced attendance of 111,387 marks the 275th consecutive game at Michigan Stadium with a crowd in excess of 100,000.
• The Wolverines improved to 3-0 in the all-time series against Air Force, including a 2-0 mark since the Falcons joined the Mountain West Conference. U-M is 7-1 all-time against teams from the Mountain West.
• With today's win, U-M snapped Air Force's six-game winning streak against non-conference opponents and a seven-game winning streak overall dating back to last season.
• Michigan is now 15-2 at home in two-plus seasons under Jim Harbaugh, with 10 straight wins at Michigan Stadium. U-M holds a perfect 8-0 record in non-conference home games under Harbaugh, outscoring opponents 318-86.
• Michigan's two honorary captains today were: director of player personnel Sean Magee and director of strength and conditioning Kevin Tolbert, who both graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy.
• Sophomore kicker Quinn Nordin went 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts to tie Michigan's single-game record. He now shares the top spot with K.C. Lopata (at Minnesota, Nov. 8, 2009), J.D. Carlson (vs. Illinois, Nov. 10, 1990) and Mike Gillette (vs. Minnesota, Nov. 5, 1988).
• Nordin accounted for 17 of Michigan's 29 points. His 49-yard field goal in the final seconds of the first half was his third longest of the season; he hit field goals of 50 and 55 yards in the season opener vs. Florida.
• Freshman wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones returned a punt 79 yards for a touchdown early in the third quarter for his first collegiate TD. It was Michigan's first punt return for a touchdown since Jabrill Peppers returned one 54 yards last season against Colorado. It was the longest U-M punt return for a touchdown since Steve Breaston returned one 83 yards at Indiana on Nov. 11, 2006.
• Senior running back Ty Isaac, who ran for 89 yards on 16 carries, boasts 336 rushing yards through three games this season, the best three-game total by any U-M running back since Mike Hart posted 502 yards through the opening three games of 2007 (188 vs. Appalachian State, 127 vs. Oregon, 187 vs. Notre Dame).
• Senior quarterback Wilton Speight improved to 12-3 as Michigan's starter, completing 14-of-23 passes for 169 yards. He moved to 12th among U-M's all-time leaders in both career attempts (433) and passing yards (3,182).
• Junior running back Karan Higdon posted his second touchdown of the season -- and eighth of his career -- with a 36-yard rush late in the fourth quarter. Higdon also posted season highs with 64 rushing yards on 12 carries -- just one carry shy of his career high.
• Sophomore linebacker Devin Bush recorded a career-best 11 tackles, including a first-quarter sack for a loss of 13 yards. Bush has registered four sacks already this season -- at least one in each game.
• Sophomore defensive back Khaleke Hudson recorded the first interception of his career, picking off backup quarterback Nate Romine with 19 seconds remaining in the game. He also had five tackles and two pass breakups.
• Senior captain Mason Cole made his 41st consecutive start on the offensive line today, the 11th longest starting streak in Michigan program history. Cole made 25 consecutive starts at left tackle as a freshman and sophomore, 13 at center last season and three at left tackle this season.
