» Michigan used team tallies of 285 (+1) and 280 (-4) -- the second lowest of the round -- to post a 565 (-3) 36-hole total and is tied for third with UCLA after the first day of the Inverness Intercollegiate.
» Senior Kyle Mueller is a shot out of the lead as his 135 total (68-67, -7) has him third individually. In 36 holes, he carded 27 pars, eight birdies and one bogey.
» Junior Nick Carlson recorded a team-best 10 birdies, the second most in the tournament field, and is tied for sixth at 138 (67-71, -4), giving U-M two among the top 10.
» Michigan will play the final round with Washington and Ohio State tomorrow starting at 9 a.m.
