» The University of Michigan men's golf team opened with a 306 first-round tally and positioned itself 12th after the first round of the Southwestern Jones Invitational before play was called due to darkness.
» The field was able to get just over halfway through its second round before play was called. Play was delayed two hours in the morning due to frost.
» Senior Kyle Mueller opened with a 71 (-1) and was tied for third individually after 18 holes. Playing even through his first 11 holes of his second round, he moved up to second prior to play being called.
» The second round will be completed in the morning and will be immediately followed by the final round.
