A four-year letterman, Cole appeared in 51 games along the offensive line, starting all 51 and breaking Jon Jansen's former record (50) for most consecutive starts by a Michigan Offensive Lineman. Cole is a three-time All-Big Ten honoree, earning second-team honors from the media and coaches in 2017 and 2016, and honorable mention in 2015. He was also named All-Big Ten by the Associated Press. He also won the Hugh R. Rader Memorial Award, given to the top U-M offensive lineman and was a participant at the Reese's Senior Bowl.
As a senior and co-captain, Cole helped lead the Wolverines to an 8-5 record in 2017. Cole started all 13 games at left tackle and was a part of an offensive line that helped Michigan rush for 2,310 yards and pass for 2,226 yards. He was the team's Offensive Lineman of the Week against Cincinnati (Sept. 9), Indiana (Oct. 14) and Rutgers (Oct. 28).
The draft concludes Saturday (April 28) with rounds 4-7 starting at noon EDT.
