
Marody Earns AHCA/CCM All-America Honors

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- University of Michigan junior forward Cooper Marody earned AHCA/CCM All-America recognition, and was named to the second team, as announced on Friday night (April 6) during the Hobey Baker Ceremony at the 2018 NCAA Frozen Four.
Marody enjoyed a breakout season, notching 51 points (16 goals, 35 assists), which led the Big Ten and were ranked sixth in the NCAA, while his 35 assists ranked third in the NCAA and first in the Big Ten. Marody became the third Wolverine to garner the Big Ten scoring title, joining Zach Hyman (2015) and Kyle Connor (2016), while also earning first team all-conference honors.
The Brighton, Michigan, native becomes the 94th All American in the programs history, and the most recent since JT Compher, Kyle Connor, Tyler Motte and Zach Werenski earned All-America honors following the 2015-16 season.
