KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Junior midfielder Sarah Stratigakis of the University of Michigan women's soccer team was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America second team, it was announced Thursday night (Dec. 5) at the College Cup banquet.
Stratigakis is the eighth Wolverine to earn All-America recognition and the first since 2013 when Nkem Ezurike was named to the first team and both Haley Kopmeyer and Meghan Toohey earned second-team honors.
Stratigakis adds All-America honors to her list of accomplishments this season as she was also named the Big Ten Midfielder of the Year, notched first team All-Big Ten honors and was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-North Region first team.
