
Six Game Times Announced for 2019 Michigan Football Season

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference and its television partners announced Thursday (May 30) the kickoff time for six University of Michigan football games during the 2019 season. Additional games can be selected prior to the season or will be chosen during the six- and 12-day selection process with the networks.
The Wolverines will open the season with a primetime affair at Michigan Stadium. The first-ever meeting against Middle Tennessee State will kick off on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 7:30 p.m. on Big Ten Network. A week later, Michigan will host Army at the Big House in a noon tilt on FOX.
Michigan will open Big Ten play at Wisconsin on Sept. 21 after a bye week. The contest between the Wolverines and Badgers will be broadcast by FOX starting at noon.
The broadcast entity for Michigan's homecoming contest against Iowa on Oct. 5 will be determined at a later date, but it was announced that the game will kick off at noon.
The Illinois (Oct. 12) and Notre Dame games (Oct. 26) have been selected for broadcast by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2, with the game times being determined during either the six- or 12-day selections.
In addition, Michigan's game at Maryland on Nov. 2 will kick off at noon. The TV broadcast partner will be designated at a later date.
"The Game" between Michigan and Ohio State will be televised by FOX for the third consecutive year. The network will carry this year's battle between the two rivals from Michigan Stadium on Nov. 30 at noon.

Sept. 7 -- vs. Army, noon (FOX)
Sept. 21 -- at Wisconsin, noon (FOX)
Oct. 5 -- vs. Iowa (Homecoming), noon (TV TBD)
Oct. 12 -- at Illinois, TBD (ABC/ESPN/ESPN2)
Oct. 26 -- vs. Notre Dame, TBD (ABC/ESPN/ESPN2)
Nov. 2 -- at Maryland, noon (TV TBD)
Nov. 30 -- vs. Ohio State, noon (FOX)
