ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan water polo head coach Dr. Marcelo Leonardi announced Tuesday (July 2) the Wolverines' 2020 schedule, which is highlighted by seven home dates.
Michigan will host two home tournaments with the Michigan Invitational slated for Jan. 25-26 and the Wolverine Invitational, scheduled for Feb. 29-March 1. Michigan will start its season Jan. 18-19 at the UCSB Winter Invite. U-M also will head to Palo Alto, California (Feb. 1-2), and Irvine, California (Feb. 21-23), to face some of the nation's top competition.
Conference play will open April 4 as the Wolverines will be in Princeton, New Jersey to face off against Brown, Bucknell and Harvard over a two-day span. The Maize and Blue will close out the regular season with the remainder of its conference games April 10-11 in Providence, Rhode Island, against Princeton, George Washington and St. Francis (Pa.).
