Michigan Announces 2020-21 Student Season Ticket Pricing

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Athletic Department announced Monday (Feb. 10) the season ticket information and pricing for enrolled students during the 2020-21 academic year. The formal student renewal process for football, men's basketball and ice hockey will begin March 11 with a deadline of May 1.
Currently enrolled students who purchased a season ticket (football/basketball/ice hockey) for the 2019-20 academic year will be able to buy 2020 season tickets between the dates of March 11 and May 1, 2020.
Currently enrolled students who do not currently have a season ticket (football/basketball/ice hockey) for the 2019-20 academic year will have access to purchase 2020 season tickets between the dates of March 21 and May 1, 2020.
Michigan's need-based ticketing model for students, now entering its sixth year, has an application deadline of Feb. 21.
The student ticket price for football is unchanged on a per-game basis, with figures of $25 per game and $175 total ($105 need-based) for the Wolverines' seven-game home schedule in 2020.
The student season ticket prices for both men's basketball and ice hockey will remain unchanged at $175 ($105 need-based) and $150 ($90 need-based), respectively.
"The athletic department is pleased to have either reduced or maintained student season ticket prices for a sixth consecutive academic year," said Kurt Svoboda, Associate Athletic Director for External Communications and Public Relations. "Our popular need-based ticketing program also enters its sixth season and has provided an affordable opportunity for all U-M students to enjoy games with more than 3,500 transactions to date."
In the fall of 2014, the athletic department and Central Student Government collaborated with the Office of Financial Aid to provide reduced-priced tickets for students who meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria. The process for reduced pricing will be communicated to those eligible students by the Office of Financial Aid.
The deadline for returning students to request tickets for the three identified sports is May 1. In addition to their game ticket, students will receive a free official season T-shirt with the purchase of the season ticket for each respective sport. If demand exceeds supply, returning students will be able to join a waitlist that may be considered after the incoming student sale.
Following is the pricing for the three sports and the need-based pricing:

There will be a $15 processing fee applied to the entire order.
Also, currently enrolled students who purchase 2020 football season tickets will have the ability to order away game football tickets between April 6-8.
Newly enrolled students (for the 2020-21 academic year) will have the opportunity to purchase season tickets starting approximately June 5 with a deadline of June 19. The specific dates will be communicated at a later time.
Students can attend any other Michigan varsity sporting event free of charge with a valid Mcard.
