
Offensive Lineman Allen Joins U-M Program

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan football program announced the addition of offensive lineman Willie Allen as a graduate transfer. Allen joins U-M beginning with the winter 2021 semester and comes to the program from Louisiana Tech. He holds immediate eligibility for the 2021 season.

Prior to Michigan
• Won two varsity letters (2018-19) appearing in 25 games with 15 starts for Louisiana Tech
• Also played at Tyler College during the 2017 season
• All-Conference USA honorable mention (2019)
Senior (2019)
• Started all 13 games at left tackle for Conference USA's No. 2 scoring offense (32.5 points per game) and total offense (436.8 yards per game)
• Helped the Bulldogs lead C-USA in third-down offense (41.4 percent)
• Part of a unit that listed as the league's No. 2 offense in first downs (304 total), No. 4 rushing offense (168.4 yards per game) and No. 4 passing offense (268.5 yards per game)
• Helped back Justin Henderson reach 1,000 yards while also blocking for C-USA Offensive Player of the Year J'Mar Smith
Junior (2018)
• Transferred to Louisiana Tech; appeared in 12 games along the offensive line, with two starts

• Appeared in five games along the offensive line at Tyler College
