DEXTER, Mich. -- A pair of runners concluded the regular-season portion of the schedule for the national No. 9-ranked University of Michigan women's cross country team on Friday afternoon (Oct. 22) as they competed at the Eastern Michigan Fall Classic at Hudson Mills Metropark.
Gabby Swider led the way for the Wolverines in the five-kilometer (3.11-mile) race that will be their last ahead of the Big Ten Cross Country Championships next Friday at Penn State, finishing fourth in 18:23.9.
Michigan also got an 11th-place finish from Eva Jansohn in 19:05.9.
Now that the regular season has ended, Michigan will turn all of its attention to the Big Ten Championships next Friday (Oct. 29) in State College, Pa.
