• U-M's season ends with a 12-2 record overall and is just the third 12-win season in program history (1997, 1905).
• The Wolverines fall to 1-2 in three Orange Bowl appearances (2000, 2016) and 1-2 against Georgia in three all-time meetings.
• Running back Hassan Haskins entered the game with 1,288 yards rushing and eclipsed 1,300 yards with his fourth carry of the game.
• Haskins is the first Wolverine to eclipse 1,300 yards rushing in a season since Denard Robinson in 2010 (1,702 yards). He is the first U-M back to reach that mark since his position coach Mike Hart, who had 1,361 rushing yards in 2006 and 1,562 rushing yards in 2007.
• Haskins finished the season with the program's single-season rushing touchdown record (20).
• Quarterback J.J. McCarthy set career bests in completions (7), attempts (17) and yards (131).
• Kicker Jake Moody converted on his 23rd made field goal of the season to score U-M's only points of the first half. He finishes the year two made field goals shy of Remy Hamilton's single-season school record (25) set in 1994.
• U-M had allowed just 10 sacks and 27 tackles for loss all season; the Wolverines surrendered four sacks and seven tackles for loss against the Bulldogs.
• Defensive end Aidan Hutchinson finishes the season with the program's single-season sack record (14.0).
• Outside linebacker David Ojabo finishes the season with the program's single-season forced-fumble record (five).
• Safety Brad Hawkins finishes his career having played in a program-record 56 career games.
