INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Eleven members of the University of Michigan women's swimming and diving team received individual qualifying berths to the NCAA Championships on Wednesday (March 3), per an official announcement from the NCAA. The Championships will take place March 17-20 in Greensboro, N.C.
Earning invites are senior Sierra Schmidt; juniors Olivia Carter, Victoria Kwan, Maggie MacNeil and Caroline Sisson; sophomores Megan Glass, Kaitlynn Sims and Mariella Venter; and freshmen Kathryn Ackerman, Claire Donan and Sophie Housey. All five relays qualified for the meet.
Senior Daria Pyshnenko chose to retire and will not compete in the upcoming NCAA Championships.
