
Michigan Adds Transfer West to Goaltending Unit

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey program announced Thursday (Aug. 19) the addition of goaltender Noah West to the roster for the 2021-22 season.
West comes to Ann Arbor after spending his freshman year at Robert Morris University.
A native of Pittsboro, Ind., West started 19 games for the Colonials last year in a condensed season. He posted a 9-7 record with a .915 save percentage and a 2.66 goals-against average.
West, who catches left at 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, was named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie Team and was named second team all-conference. He played his junior hockey with the Jamestown Rebels of the North American Hockey League. A member of the NAHL All-East Division Rookie Team in 2018-19, West recorded a .916 save percentage and a 2.49 GAA in his two seasons with the Rebels.
