Ten Wolverines Earn WCGA Scholastic All-America Honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced its 2021-22 Academic All-American and team Academic Award winners Wednesday (Aug. 10) with 10 University of Michigan gymnasts earning the honors with a grade-point average of 3.50 or above.

Senior Natalie Wojcik earned the honor for the fourth time in her career, while juniors Sierra Brooks, Nicolette Koulos and Gabby Wilson all garnered the honor for the third time.

Senior Abby Heiskell and sophomore Naomi Morrison captured the honor for the second time in their careers and freshmen Ashley Lane, Abigael Vides and Jacey Vore along with sophomore Carly Bauman all earned the honor for the first time.

The Wolverines had a successful 2022 season both in the gym and in the classroom as Wojcik was named a CoSIDA Academic All-America honoree, two gymnasts were named Big Ten Distinguished Scholars and 10 earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
