LAKE NONA, Fla. -- The University of Michigan men's tennis team's match against TCU, originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening (May 18) at the USTA National Campus, has been postponed due to inclement weather in the area.
Thunderstorms suspended play at the four NCAA men's quarterfinal matches. Play is set to resume on Friday (May 19) at 10 a.m. for the two matches that were in first sets of singles. Michigan and TCU will not play until those matches are completed, following a one-hour warm-up. The projected start time for Michigan's quarterfinal match is 12:30 p.m.
Due to the postponement, the rest of the weekend's schedule has also been altered. The semifinals will take place on Saturday (May 20) and the national title match is now scheduled for Sunday (May 21). Times for both days are still to be determined.
