
Michigan Announces 2023 Men's Soccer Schedule

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's soccer team released its 16-game 2023 schedule Thursday (July 6), which will feature nine regular-season matches at U-M Soccer Stadium.
Prior to the 2023 regular season, U-M will play three exhibition matches at U-M Soccer Stadium that, including games with Marshall (Aug. 13), Purdue Fort Wayne (Aug. 16) and Saginaw Valley (Aug. 18).
The Wolverines open the 2023 season with three straight home contests, starting with Loyola Marymount on Thursday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. and concluding against California Baptist on Sunday, Aug. 27. Michigan finishes the three-game home swing with Akron Friday, Sept. 1.
U-M hits the road the for a four-game road stint starting Monday, Sept. 4 at Bowling Green before taking on Creighton (Sept. 8). Michigan kicks off Big Ten Conference action Thursday, Sept. 14 at Maryland and concludes its road run at Oakland on Sept. 19.
Head coach Chaka Daley and his squad then get into the heart of Big Ten slate with five league contests at U-M Soccer Stadium, including Rutgers (Sept. 22), Wisconsin (Oct. 1) and in-state rival Michigan State (Oct. 10) to highlight the home stretch.
The Wolverines conclude their 2023 regular season with home games against Notre Dame (Oct. 17), Cleveland State (Oct. 25) and Northwestern (Oct. 29), while making one final road trip to Penn State (Oct. 22).
Michigan will look to earn its spot in the Big Ten Tournament which starts Friday, Nov. 3 at campus sites.
