ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan women's volleyball head coach Erin Virtue announced Wednesday (Nov. 13) two incoming freshmen for the 2025 fall season, Hannah Brady and Leni Stanton-Parker.
"We're thrilled to add Hannah and Leni to our roster for 2025," said Virtue. "Through the recruiting process, we've had the pleasure of getting to know these two exceptional student-athletes who align wonderfully with our program's vision. We're excited to bring them to Ann Arbor and watch them contribute to the continued growth of Michigan Volleyball."
Hannah Brady | Libero | Agoura Hills, Calif.
Joining from Agoura Hills, Calif., and Oaks Christian Academy, Brady will arrive in Ann Arbor as her high school's career leader in digs with 1,207. Brady has been the team's libero since her freshman season and helped her team reach the CIF Southern Section final twice while winning the Marmonte League title all four seasons. She has been named an AVCA Phenom, to the AVCA All-American Watchlist and earned first-team all-league honors.
Brady comes from a family of athletes. Her mother was an All-American softball pitcher at Fresno State, and her sister, Maya, was a three-time first team All-American with UCLA softball. Brady is also the niece of former MLB player Kevin Youkilis and former Michigan quarterback and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.
Virtue on Brady: "We couldn't be more excited to welcome Hannah into our Michigan Volleyball family. Her deep Michigan roots combined with her steady presence as a libero make her a natural fit for our program. She brings exactly the kind of competitive spirit and work ethic we value in our program, and I can't wait for our fans to watch her compete in the maize and blue."
Leni Stanton-Parker | OH | McLean, Va.
A six-foot outside hitter from IMG Academy and McLean, Va., native, Stanton-Parker was part of the USAV National Team Development Program last spring and ranked among Prep Volleyball's Top 150 players for the 2025 class. As a freshman, she was a starter on the varsity team at Langley High School, earning a spot on the Virginia All-District Team. She was also ranked No. 1 in Virginia as the top middle hitter and blocker for the class of 2025.
During her sophomore year, Stanton-Parker was named to the All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State teams and earned All-America honorable mention honors. She helped Langley High School to three straight state volleyball championships, contributing 14 kills in the championship match as a junior.
Virtue on Stanton-Parker: "Leni immediately stood out to us as someone ready to make an impact at the Big Ten level with her explosive play at the outside hitter position. Her ceiling as an athlete is remarkably high, and her fiery personality will make her an instant fan favorite. We're thrilled to add such a dynamic player to our program and can't wait to see her development over the coming years."
