
U-M Earns NCAA Tournament Berth, Will Host Robert Morris

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The University of Michigan men's soccer team punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament, earning an at-large bid to the 48-team field on Monday (Nov. 18). The Wolverines will open the championship at home against Robert Morris on Thursday (Nov. 21). Match time is slated for 6 p.m. Tickets start at $6, and Michigan students can claim a free ticket at the box office with their M-Card.
Michigan enters its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2019 with a record of 8-4-7 after finishing runner-up in the Big Ten Tournament after falling to Ohio State in the championship, 1-0. The Wolverines advanced to the final for the first time since 2019 after defeating then-No. 6 Indiana, 1-0, in the quarterfinal before advancing past UCLA with a 4-2 penalty shootout win.
The Wolverines notched several quality results during the regular season and conference tournament, including two top-six wins over Maryland (Oct. 25) and Indiana (Nov. 7).
All first-round games will be played Thursday, Nov. 21, on campus sites, while all second-round action will take place Sunday, Nov. 24. The third round will be played Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, while the quarterfinals will be played Dec. 6-7. The semifinals and final will be held Dec. 13 and Dec. 16 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
