
U-M Named USTFCCCA All-Academic Team; 10 Wolverines Named All-Academic Athletes

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team has earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors, while 10 Wolverines -- Tom Brady, Miles Brown, Aiden Felty, Caleb Jarema, Henry Johnson, Camden Law, Owen MacKenzie, Jozef Meyers, Tianhao Wei and Eli Winter - were named All-Academic Athletes, the organization announced Tuesday (July 16).
To be named an All-Academic Team, the cumulative team grade-point average for the 2023-24 academic year had to be higher than 3.0. The Maize and Blue saw a 3.30 GPA and was one of 180 teams to earn the honor.
To be named an All-Academic Athlete, an athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and complete at least two semesters at the nominating institution. Athletes must also have finished in the top 96 of any championship individual event or in the top 48 of any championship relay event during the indoor season, or must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships or finished in the top 48 of the qualifying region for multi-events.
