Michigan Announces Program Record Nine-Match Crisler Series Slate

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Head coach Erin Virtue and the University of Michigan volleyball program announced Wednesday (July 30) a record nine of their 17 home matches will take place in Crisler Center during the 2024 season.
The 2024 Crisler Series will start with the season opener on Friday, Aug. 30 against Delaware as part of the Michigan Nike Classic and Go Blue, Go For Gold Night. U-M also close out the tournament in against Kent State at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1 for Personalities Day, which also will include team autographs. On Sept. 4, the Wolverines will host Eastern Michigan in a midweek contest as part of Winning Wednesday.
Two weeks later, Michigan will host Sacramento State on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. in its opening match of the Michigan Invitational.
U-M will open up Big Ten Conference play at Crisler against Michigan State on Friday, Sept. 27 for the annual Maize Out match. Michigan will then entertain Big Ten foe Illinois in a Friday night (Oct. 11) Pride Game matchup. The following weekend, U-M will host a Crisler doubleheader with Washington (Friday, Oct. 18) and Wisconsin (Sunday, Oct. 20). The Washington match will be Dollar Day, while Wisconsin will be the annual Pink Match. The Wolverines will close out the regular-season schedule at Crisler for the first time with Senior Night against Northwestern on Friday, Nov. 29.
Last season, the Wolverines hosted eight matches inside Crisler Center.
The Maize and Blue also will host its annual Maize and Blue Scrimmage at Crisler Center on Saturday, Aug. 17. Admission to that match is free.
A limited number of new general admission season tickets are on sale for the 2024 Michigan volleyball season for $60 each. Volleyball flex packs are also on sale now, starting at $50. This package allows fans to purchase a minimum of 10 vouchers at $5 each that can be redeemed for one match or spread out over various matches to allow fans to customize their schedule.
The popular Crisler Series Pack returns for 2024. Fans can purchase the pack and get tickets to all nine matches at Crisler Center for $45. The Crisler Series Pack, single-match tickets and group tickets go on sale Wednesday (July 31) at 9 a.m. Join the volleyball ticket interest list to be notified when tickets go on sale and to receive special offers throughout the season.
