Paralympic Updates: Aoki, Team USA Earn Decisive Win over Germany to Close Group Play

USA 57, Germany 47

The United States cruised to a 57-47 win over Germany in its final group-play match at Champ-de-Mars Arena. Team USA never trailed in the contest and outscored Germany 17-10 in the fourth quarter to distance itself down the stretch. Chuck Aoki boasted nine tries in the fourth quarter and led the USA -- for the third straight game -- with 34 total tries and added a pair of steals. Team USA finished second in its group with a 2-1 record and, with its top-two-finish, advances to the semifinals.
