USA 50, Great Britain 43
In a rematch of the Tokyo Games' gold-medal final, the United States earned a 50-43 semifinal win over Great Britain at Champ-de-Mars Arena to advance to the gold-medal game for the third straight year. The USA took the lead midway through the first quarter and did not relinquish it, surging in the second period before outscoring Great Britain 13-10 in the fourth to further pull away late. Chuck Aoki led the Americans with 18 tries and a pair of steals with six tries and both steals coming in Team USA's second-quarter surge.
The Americans will face Japan in the gold-medal final -- and in a rematch of its lone loss in Paralympic play. USA has medaled in every Paralympics since 2000, with gold in 2000 and 2008, but has taken silver in each of the last two Games.
