» After opening with a 286 (-2), Michigan tallied a 279 (-9) second-round total and sit tied for second after 36 holes with a 565 (-11) total at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational from the Oviinbryd Golf Club.
» Using 18 pars, 15 birdies and three bogeys, Canadian-native (Calgary) Hunter Thomson fired back-to-back rounds of 66 to hold a four-shot lead after day 1 with a 132 (-12) total.
» The medalist will receive an exemption into the 2025 RBC Canadian Open (June 3-5, 2025).
